On a personal note: I would like to thank Bill Frankmore, Shelby Sheehan, Ben Margiott, and Melissa Metheney of KRNV News 4 who were instrumental in covering and telling the story from the inception to the final steps of the march. Also a big thank you to Port of Subs who sponsored the Honor March on Nov. 11th and were there every step of the way at each stopping point. And to Linda, John, and Hal of Chapter 989 of the Vietnam Veterans of America who were there in support throughout the entire event.

There was one special person who walked the entire 28 mile trek with me and that was Kathleen. She never gave up the walk and I am very thankful she was there by my side.

And in a very special vow of gratitude….I would like to thank a former shipmate of mine, Joel Walton and his wife Kimberly for diligently driving the chase vehicle and assisting with the march from beginning to end. They drove in from Sacramento just to help out with the cause and their sacrifice and friendship is most definitely to be acknowledged.

And of course, thank you so much to everyone who donated to help the local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 989, including the Frankmore/Sheehan family, Reno Tahoe Limousine, Port of Subs, the Carson City Chapter of the VVA, former shipmate Challen Yee, and everyone who stopped me along the route to donate!

Thanks to all who helped and supported!
